Why Roundtable: Are you wondering where you can get the latest news about district and council activities? Take the time to be a better, more informed leader for your unit by attending Roundtable. You'll be in the best of company. It’s a great place to “network” with your fellow leaders. We have lots of information for all Den Leaders, Committee Members, Cubmasters & Scoutmasters.

At Roundtable You Can:

· Learn how to plan your program.

· Get resources for songs, games, skits, speakers, and field trips.

· Connect with trained leaders who can help you over the rough spots all year long.

· Have fun learning to have fun with your son and the other boys in your den, troop, or pack.

· Learn how to teach character development and values.

· Learn how to make sure that all of the boys (and adults) in your unit are safe and happy.

· Get hints and methods for den/troop discipline so that you all have fun.

· Learn how to help the boys advance in Ranks and Achievements.

· Get the latest information on BSA changes and improvements.

· Share your experiences and advice with other Scouters.

· Earn those highly valuable “Bully Bucks”.

What are “Bully Bucks” you ask?

Bully Bucks are earned and given out at every Roundtable. You can earn extra Bully Bucks by participating in the Round Table program for that evening.

What do I do with these “Bully Bucks”?

Every May, Shelter Rock holds their Roundtables at Christopher Morley Park where you can “bid” on various (sometimes) Scout-related items with your valuable Bucks.

Shelter Rock District Cub Scout and Boy Scout Roundtable meets every 2nd Tuesday night, starting at 8:00pm.

Our meeting location is The Community Church of East Williston which is located at the corner of Roslyn Road and East Williston Avenue (Hillside Avenue - Rt. 25-B).

The building entrance and parking lot is via Ward Street, which is 1 block north of East Williston Avenue (Hillside Avenue - Rt. 25-B).

Please don’t park in the street. Use the parking lot.
