Celebrating 100 Years of Scouting - How are you and your Unit celebrating the 100 Years of Scouting? Check out this exciting program that has been created to assist us in the Celebration. There are many way to celebrate the Scouting Centennial for Scouts of all ages and to earn unique awards for your accomplishments. Registration Fee Increase - Please remember that commencing January 1, 2010 traditional membership registration fees for youth and adults will increase to $15 annually. This equates to a pro-rated fee of $1.25 per month. Boy's Life will remain $12 per year. A revised fee chart will be included in all charter renewals. New Youth and Adult Applications reflecting the fee increase will also be included in all charter renewal envelopes, and will be available at the Council office.

New Eagle Scout application - Effective August 1, 2009, the National office in Texas will no longer accept Eagle applications prior to the 2009 printing. The new Eagle Scout application (512-728) can be found on scouting.org http://www.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/512-728_web.pdf. New Boy Scout Handbook - The centennial edition (12th) of the Boy Scout Handbook is available at our Scout Shop. It will feature a mixture of parts of many of the early handbooks with a 21st century flair. The handbook features chapters on Leadership and Leave No Trace, which both are firsts. There will be a supplemental 100-year timeline book with the first printing and a mini-book with the rank requirements that is pocket size.

Cub Program Helps - The 2009-2010 Cub Scout Program Helps are available in order to make den and pack plans for this year at http://www.usscouts.org/bbugle.asp

New BSA Medical Form—Mandatory as of January 1, 2010. Annual physical required for all youth & adults.
