We teach our Scouts to be good leaders by being informed leaders ourselves. |

As you might already have found out, Scouting is big on paperwork. Unit leaders filling out the proper forms and bringing them to Theodore Roosevelt Council is an almost constant ritual, especially regarding advancement forms and picking up patches. The link below takes you to the Boy Scouts of America’s web site which contains the latest official versions of the most popular forms available to download. Some examples are: · Youth applications (bring to council as soon as possible) · Adult applications (bring to council as soon as possible) · Local Tour Permits (file two weeks before your trip) · Annual Health and Medical Forms (which replaces the Class 1, 2, and 3 health forms) · Troop Resource Survey (a MUST HAVE for every unit leader) · Silver Beaver Nominations · District Award of Merit Nomination · Progress Records (for the many various adult leader square knots) This link will take you to National’s web site where you can find almost any form you are looking for: http://www.scouting.org/scoutsource/Media/forms.aspx
